I rented through this company for roughly three and a half years. I moved in because at the time I needed affordable rent. I stayed because my building was quiet and I liked my neighbors. What I did not like was the lack of response (if any) that I got regarding maintenance and service requests. I was left without AC for a week during AZ Summer, Ledt without a working refrigerator for a long holiday weekend and then a couple of days. Probably the worst of my issues with them was the lack of concern or action taken regarding black mold that had developed from the leaky sink I made mention of in my move in inspection. Come to find out there was also black mold in my bathroom as well. Attempts to have these massive health risks addressed fell on deaf ears. Management and even the owner of the property chose no to do anything in my apartment to correct the issue. But the owner had an apartment stripped down to the studs and treated for mold to have his sister move in. If you don’t want your family living with that risk then your.paying tenants should t have to either. Southwest realty have awful rude unorganized office staff. From lost rent checks to infield device requests and trying to get out of every problem as CHEAPly as possible I would NOT recommend living anywhere this company manages.
